About Medical Education in Vietnam

Modern medical education with a curriculum close to India

Vietnam has a fast-developing healthcare system and a growing network of medical universities under the oversight of the Ministry of Education and Training. Some universities run dedicated English-medium programmes for international students, with a syllabus structured close to the Indian MBBS pattern. Students get early hospital exposure and complete clinical rotations at university-affiliated teaching hospitals.

India and Vietnam share a strong Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and educational ties between the two countries keep growing. Vietnam's low tuition, affordable living costs, Asian food and culture, and short travel distance from India make it a practical choice for Indian families. Since only a few universities offer suitable English programmes, and students also need to learn Vietnamese for hospital work, choosing the right university with expert guidance is key.
