The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is the single gateway for MBBS admissions across India and abroad.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum age: 17 years at the time of admission
- Qualifying exam: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- Minimum marks: 50% aggregate (General) | 45% (PH) | 40% (SC/ST/OBC)

- PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Valid identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)
- Passport size photographs
- Caste/category certificate (if applicable)
Exam Fees
- General/EWS: Rs. 1,700
- OBC-NCL: Rs. 1,600
- SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 1,000
Exam Pattern
- Mode: Offline (pen and paper)
- Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes
- Total Questions: 200 (180 to be attempted)
- Subjects: Physics (50), Chemistry (50), Biology – Botany + Zoology (100)
- Marking: +4 for correct, -1 for incorrect
